Research Assistant
Since July 2023 David works as a research assistant (Ph.D.) at the Institute of Sustainability in Civil Engineering (INaB) at RWTH, Aachen. He graduated with an integrated master’s degree in Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Tirana in Albania. His master’s thesis centered on the design of two community schools in the city of Tirana with a focus on passive-energy solutions to provide better efficiency in achieving thermal comfort. After this, he gathered experience in various architecture and construction firms working as a Project Architect in all phases of building development and various typologies. Later, as part of the DBU Fellowship Programme, he completed a research study as a guest researcher at INaB focusing on buildings LCA.
