Zaid Hashash M.Sc.
Research Assistant
Since January 2024, Zaid started as a research assistant at the Institute for Sustainability in Civil Engineering. He completed his bachelor’s in civil engineering at the Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan. Following this, Zaid gained experience in the construction field as a site engineer in Jordan. Subsequently, he furthered his education with a Master’s in Sustainable Management – Water and Energy at RWTH Aachen University. During his master’s studies, Zaid spent a semester abroad at Polytechnic University of Milan, focusing on the study of energy management. His master’s thesis concentrated on the Life Cycle Assessment of Asphalt Mixtures: Scenarios for End-of-Life. Zaid also worked at a project management company, contributing to the planning and execution of large construction projects in Germany
