Research Assistant
Bruna Pereira de Souza joined the INaB as a research associate in October 2023. In July 2018, she successfully completed a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering with a focus on Environmental and Atmospheric Modeling at the Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR) in Brazil. In October 2023, Ms. Souza has completed her second master´s degree in Sustainable Management at the RWTH Aachen University. In her master thesis (INaB) the thematic focus was on the environmental assessment of traditional manufacturing and additive manufacturing of bearing rings used in aircrafts. Previously, Ms Souza worked in Brazil with research and development (R&D) projects in the fields of water contamination and environmental impacts of photovoltaic energy stations. In Germany, she also worked at the WZL-MQ/IMA from the RWTH Aachen for one year and nine months where she gathered experience with interdisciplinary projects, mainly in the topics of sustainability strategies and circular economy for SMEs.
