Research Assistant
Seit März 2020 arbeitet Pamela Del Rosario als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin (Ph.D.) am Institut für Nachhaltigkeit im Bauwesen (INaB). Sie hat Bauingenieurwesen (B.Sc.) bei INTEC (Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo) in der Dominikanischen Republik studiert. Danach sammelte sie Erfahrungen im dominikanischen öffentlichen Sektor, wo sie als Aufsichtsingenieurin für eine Regierungseinrichtung arbeitete, die sich mit der Durchführung von Infrastrukturprojekten beschäftigt. Später absolvierte sie ihr Masterstudium in Umweltingenieurwissenschaften (M.Sc.) mit dem Schwerpunkt „Energie und Umwelt im Bauwesen“ an der RWTH Aachen. In ihrer Masterarbeit beschäftigte sie sich mit der Anwendung von Umweltproduktdeklarationen (EPD) als Datenquelle in den LCA-Ansätzen verschiedener Nachhaltigkeitszertifizierungssysteme.
