IMG_7642swJana Backes ist seit November 2019 wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin (PhD) am Institut für Nachhaltigkeit im Bauwesen. Während ihres Studiums in International Business Administration (duales Studium in Kooperation mit BASF SE, Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft Ludwigshafen) und Sustainable Resource Management (Technische Universität München) hat sie Praxiserfahrung in Industrie (BASF SE), Forschung (TUM) und Politik (BMU, PTJ) sammeln können. Bereits 2012 hat sie sich erstmals wissenschaftlich mit dem Thema Nachhaltigkeit und Klimawandel im Rahmen von Jugend forscht beschäftigt. Nach dem Masterstudium hat sie zunächst ein Jahr Praxiserfahrung als (Produktions-) Controllerin bei BASF SE gesammelt und hier u.a. an Ansätzen eines CO2-Controllings gearbeitet.
